Arriving by train
The simplest way of transportation to Aveiro is by train. Aveiro’s railway station is located in the city’s centre, with urban/regional trains and fast services to all main cities in Portugal. Aveiro railway station (see photo below) is located about 20 minutes walking distance or 5 minutes taxi ride from the University Campus. To reach the Campus, you can also use the bus (green line, lines 5, 6 or 7), which departs at regular intervals from outside the railway station.
